Do I have to use the celebrant recommended by the Funeral Director?
No, you have the right to choose your own.
Will the Celebrant write the eulogy?
Yes, they are skilled at writing and delivering eulogies based on information you provide.
What information do I need to provide?
You will discuss the life story, values, favourite songs, readings and specific rituals or traditions you want to include.
How are celebrants Paid?
If arranged through a funeral home, the fee is included in the funeral account. Otherwise, they are paid directly.
When are you available?
I am available 7 days per week
How do I choose the right celebrant?
Ask about their process for getting to know your loved one, their experience with specific traditions, and how they support families.
Can the service be non-religious?
Yes, it can be entirely non-religious, secular, spiritual or incorporate specific, personally chosen, or religious elements.
Where can the service be held?
Services can be held in Crematorium chapels, gravesides, or alternative, non-traditional venues.
What about audio-visual or live streaming?
Celebrants often co-ordinate with venues for slide-shows and live-streaming. Depending on the venue chosen.
What area to do you cover?
I mainly cover the South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne but happy to travel anywhere within the Greater Melbourne area.
Can family and friends participate?
Yes, and the celebrant can guide them to ensure they feel comfortable.
